Our main focus will be Corsica with its fabolous coastal sites and interesting xc possibilities inland. The exact itinerary will be chosen daily depending on the weather conditions. We will explore Sardinia as well and may even cross to Elba for a quick flight.
Along the route, we will visit numerous official take-off sites. As in our past expeditions, we’ll also seek out new, magical spots where no one has flown before. This journey offers a mix of coastal soaring sites on the islands and XC-friendly areas on the mainland.
Regardless of your skill level, solid ground handling is highly recommended. Many launch sites are rocky and not well-prepared, so a robust wing is preferable. Travel light, as we’ll be doing a good amount of hiking.
Each pilot should carry a vhf radio and a cellphone for communication.
